Schmilka is een deelgemeente van Bad Schandau in de Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge in Saksen. Schmilka heeft 75 inwoners. 23 van de 69 huizen behoren toe aan ondernemer Sven-Erik Hitzer. Kleine vakwerkhuizen aan de oever van de Elbe en de Mühlenberg omhoog richting Großer Winterberg bepalen het beeld. In 2017 werd Schmilka onderscheiden door de belangenvereniging Sachsens Schönste Dörfer. Schmilka is een etappenplaats van de Malerweg.
Schmilka ligt rechts van de Elbe direct aan het Nationaal Park Sächsische Schweiz in het Elbsandsteingebirge, vlak aan de grens met Tsjechië. Ten oosten van het dorp bevindt zich de Großer Winterberg, ten westen de Schrammsteine en de Rauschenstein. Het dorp ligt op 117 m hoogte.
