De sluis Templin, ook wel stads-sluiskanaal Templin genoemd, bevindt zich bij kilometer 13,32 van de Templiner waterwegen in het uiterste zuidwesten van de gemeente Uckermark in de stad Templin in het noorden van Brandenburg. Ze werd gebouwd in 1894/95 en in 2004/2005 gemoderniseerd. Het Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsamt Oder-Havel is verantwoordelijk.
Een eerste uitgebreide economische ontsluiting van de Templiner waterwegen vond plaats vanaf het jaar 1745. De Templiner waterwegen bestaan uit het Templiner kanaal, ook regionaal Templiner water genoemd, evenals verschillende meren. De waterweg is bereikbaar via de Boven-Havel-waterweg.
