De ruïne van kasteel Klettenberg, ook wel bekend als kasteel Clettenberg, is de ruïne van een hoogteburcht in het dorp Klettenberg, een deel van de gemeente Hohenstein in de Landkreis Nordhausen in Thüringen aan de zuidkant van het Harzgebergte.
Ter bescherming van de nederzettingen Ellrich en Walkenried, evenals het huidige verwoeste Malmerode, werd door Saksische adel op een vooruitstekende bergspoor van de berg Klettenberg een kasteel gebouwd. Voor de bouw van de burcht werd de kasteelberg waarschijnlijk gebruikt als cult- en offerplaats voor de god Krodo, zoals de benaming Tempel suggereert. Het kasteel ontstond rond 1087 door Volkmar de Walkenried.
