Tijdens haar reis naar Rome in 1654 verbleef koningin Christina in het huis van Gerdt Werkampf en Ilse Erenstinck aan de Koe Thor Straße (tegenwoordig Königstraße) in Minden. De bovenverdiepingen bestonden toen nog niet. Boven de deur staan diverse inscripties: 'An Gottes Segen ist alles gelegen' (Alles Gods zegen is alles gelegen) en 'Wer Gott Vortrauwet hat wol gebauet' (Wie op God vertrouwt, heeft goed gebouwd) met het jaartal 1644. In het midden de namen van de bewoners Gerdt Werkampf en Ilse Erenstinck.
