Op haar reis naar Rome in 1654 bezocht koningin Christina van Zweden incognito het jezuïetencollege in Münster - tegenwoordig de universiteit van Münster - met de kerk van de jezuïeten, de Petri Kirche. In het Stadtmuseum Münster bevindt zich een maquette van het gebouwencomplex in de 17e eeuw. Van dat complex is alleen de Petri Kirche overgebleven.
