De gotische kathedraal van Barcelona, is de hoofdkerk van het aartsbisdom Barcelona. Zij is genoemd naar de Heilige Eulalia die in 304 stierf als martelares. Haar relieken liggen in een marmeren sarcofaag, gelegen in de crypte onder het hoogaltaar. Ze is de co-patrones van de stad. In 1298 startte de bouw, en rond het midden van de vijftiende eeuw was de kathedraal grotendeels afgewerkt. Nochtans dateert de voorgevel van eind negentiende eeuw. Deze werd gebouwd naar de plannen van de Fransman Charles Galtès uit 1408. De drie torens aan de westzijde werden voltooid in 1913. De middelste toren heeft een hoogte van 74 meter.
