De Kathedraal van Santa Maria, bekend als de Oude Kathedraal, is een van de twee kathedralen van Salamanca. Opgericht door bisschop Jeroni van Perigord, begon de bouw in het eerste derde van de 12e eeuw en werd voltooid aan het einde van de 14e eeuw, in Romaans en Gotisch stijl. Het werd voltooid dankzij de impuls die bisschop Alfonso Barasaque aan de werken gaf. Het is gewijd aan Santa Maria de la Seu.
