De basiliek van Sant Miquel bevindt zich aan de straat Sant Miquel, nr. 21, in de stad Mallorca. Het wordt beschouwd als de oudste tempel van Palma, een van de vier eerste tempels van de stad. Het staat op de plek van een oude moskee.
De moskee, waar deze kerk is gebouwd, werd in de 13e eeuw als christelijke tempel gebruikt. In de 14e eeuw begon de bouw van de nieuwe christelijke tempel. In de 17e eeuw werden er verbouwingen uitgevoerd, werd de ruimte vergroot en werd de oriëntatie veranderd.
