De Col van Marrana ligt op 2530 meter den scheidt de valleien van de Ter en Freser. Tegelijkertijd is het een belangrijk kruispunt tussen de wegen van Ulldeter en de hoge vallei van de Freser en Núria Coma de Vaca. Startend van de refuge van Ulldeter ben je tot de pas in 45 minuten.
