De Carrasqueta is een bergketen gelegen tussen de comarca van Alcoià en Alacantí. Met een duidelijk Betische structuur vormt het een complex van bergsystemen met de Serra de la Penya-roja, die de Foia de Castalla begrenst en aan de andere kant de Foia d'Alcoi afsluit. De Carrasqueta is omgeven door plaatsen zoals Ibi, Benifallim, de Torre de les Maçanes of Xixona, en door bergen zoals die van Menejador, Aitana, de Grana of de Penya Roja zelf.
