Valencia is een comarca in het midden van het Valenciaans Gemeente. Het omvat slechts de gemeente Valencia, wat het de enige uitzondering maakt in de hele gemeenschap. De hoofdstad is dus de stad Valencia, de historische Cap i Casal. Het is een comarca die wordt beschouwd als taalkundig overwegend Valenciaans, hoewel de bevolking behoorlijk gecastillianiseerd is. Vroeger maakte het deel uit van de comarca van de Huerta van Valencia, die de huidige comarcas van Horta Nord, Horta West, Horta Zuid en de stad Valencia omvatte. Vanwege de groei van al deze comarcas werd het verdeeld in de vier huidige comarcas.
