O Milladoiro is een parochie in de gemeente Ames in de provincie A Coruña van de autonome gemeenschap Galicië. Het ligt op ongeveer 3 km van Santiago de Compostela. Binnen de gemeente Ames is het met 12.465 inwoners de meest bevolkte plaats.
De plaats is nauw verbonden met de Jakobsweg over de Portugese route en is vergelijkbaar met San Marcos-Monte do Gozo: als laatste dorp voor Santiago is hier voor het eerst de kathedraal te zien, wat de pelgrims aanzette om blij en ontroerd op hun knieën te vallen. Deze nederknieval in nederigheid wordt beschreven met het werkwoord „humillarse“ en gaf het plaatsnaam „Humilladoiro“. In de omgangstaal is de plaatsnaam verstomd tot „Milladoiro“.
