Het Ouvrage La Moutière is een minder werk van de Alpenuitbreiding van de Maginot Linie, de Alpenlijn op een hoogte van 2440 meter. Het ouvrage bestaat uit één toegangspost, één infanteriebunker en één observatiepost, met een ongewapende uitgang. Het ouvrage ondersteunde het Ouvrage Restefond op de kam van de pas, en beveiligde zijn zuidelijke flank. Het dekte ook de Col de la Barcelonnette naar het noorden. De positie werd gebouwd tussen 1931 en 1935.
