Bij het aanbreken van de dag op 6 juni 1944 landen de eerste geallieerde bevrijders bij Ranville-BÚnouville.
Herbeleef deze gebeurtenis, de hero´sche gevechten van de bevrijding van deze regio. Het museum herbergt honderden authentieke voorwerpen met grote emotionele waarde. Ook ligt hier de beroemde Pegasus Bridge, de eerste brug die op het vasteland in Frankrijk is bevrijd.
