De kerk Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens in Blérancourt werd rond 1537 gebouwd op initiatief van Guillaume Lanvin, heer van Blérancourt en schildknaap van de koning. De kerk werd gebouwd op de plaats van een eerdere kerk uit de 12e eeuw en onderging opeenvolgende transformaties. Van de oorspronkelijke kerk zijn alleen het schip en het koor overgebleven. De zijbeuken werden pas in 1620 gebouwd op initiatief van Bernard Potier, markies van Blérancourt, en zijn vrouw Charlotte de Vieux-Pont. Miss Anne Murray Dike werd, in overeenstemming met haar wensen, langs de noordkant van de kerk begraven.
