Fresnay-sur-Sarthe is een Franse gemeente met 2.889 inwoners in het departement Sarthe in de regio Pays de la Loire. Het hoort bij het arrondissement Mamers en bij het kanton Sillé-le-Guillaume. Het ontstond als een naamgevende Commune nouvelle met ingang van 1 januari 2019 door de fusie van de voormalige gemeenten Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, Coulombiers en Saint-Germain-sur-Sarthe, die in de nieuwe gemeente de status van Commune déléguée hebben. De administratie zetelt in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe.
