Oorspronkelijk 900 meter lang, verwelkomde de dijk van Bray-Dunes eerst het hotel "Nautique", en daarna verrezen de vier eerste villa's "Suzon", "Hortensia", "Thérésa" en "Marguerite".
Hoewel op 31 januari 1953 een vloedgolf het werk wegvaagde, vormt het vandaag de dag met zijn 1200 meter de verbinding tussen de Dune du Perroquet en de Dune Marchand, tot vreugde van de wandelaars.
Het monument van de 12e gemotoriseerde infanteriedivisie in het midden van de dijk bij het plaatsje "la rotonde", de leestafel met de woorden van het nummer van Alain Souchon "le baiser" en de herdenkingsplaat van operatie Dynamo verfraaien de wandeling.
