De Mont Beuvray stijgt tot 821 meter. Het maakt deel uit van het Morvan-massief en ligt in de gemeenten Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray (Saône-et-Loire), Glux-en-Glenne en Larochemillay (Nièvre). Op weg naar het uitzichtpunt passeert u het museum en de archeologische site van Bibracte. U kunt bij elke site stoppen om deze te bezoeken of direct naar het hoogste punt rijden, afhankelijk van het seizoen. Om veiligheidsredenen worden in de zomer pendeldiensten georganiseerd van de parkeerplaats van het museum naar de archeologische site en de top van de Mont Beuvray.
WiFi, toiletten, restaurant, kinderworkshops, tijdelijke tentoonstellingen en een winkel zijn beschikbaar in het museum, afhankelijk van de periode en de openingstijden.
