De Avenue Montaigne is een chique winkelstraat in het 8e arrondissement van de Franse hoofdstad Parijs. De laan begint bij de Place de l'Alma en komt uit op de rotonde van de Avenue des Champs-Élysées
De Avenue Montaigne werd eerst de Allée des Veuves genoemd, omdat daar geregeld rouwende weduwen samenkwamen. Sinds die periode, het begin van de 18e eeuw, is de straat echter zeer veranderd. De huidige naam is afkomstig van Michel Eyquem de Montaigne, een schrijver uit de Franse renaissance.
