Gelegen nabij de monding van de Gironde en de Atlantische Oceaan, op de route van de kastelen van Bordeaux, staat het enige Relais & Châteaux in de Médoc sinds 1992 bekend om het bieden van een ervaring op het hoogtepunt van de levenskunst, waarbij uitmuntendheid en gezelligheid worden gecombineerd. Het herenhuis is een elegante chartreuse uit de 17e eeuw, omgeven door de wijngaarden van de eigenaars, de familie Cazes. Cordeillan-Bages heeft achtentwintig lichte kamers en suites met uitzicht op de binnenplaats en de tuin, met zwembad, sauna en fitnesscentrum. Pure decoratie, verfijning en comfort dragen bij aan de sereniteit van de plek.
