De belegering van Toul, die plaatsvond van 16 augustus tot 23 september 1870, is een episode van de Frans-Duitse Oorlog van 1870 die eindigde met de overgave van de stad. Na de Slag bij Frœschwiller-Wœrth op 6 augustus 1870 wordt het leger van maarschalk Mac-Mahon achtervolgd door de troepen van het 3e Duitse leger onder bevel van de kroonprins Frederik-Frans II van Mecklenburg-Schwerin. De Franse troepen trekken zich terug naar Nancy, Toul en het kamp van Châlons-en-Champagne. De opmars van de Duitse troepen is snel vanwege de zwakke weerstand.
