De Slag bij Abbeville vond plaats van 28 mei tot 4 juni 1940 tussen de Wehrmacht-troepen en Frans-Britse tankafdelingen tijdens de Westfeldtocht in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De Duitse troepen, die een bruggenhoofd rond Abbeville aan de benedenloop van de Somme bezet hielden, konden hun positie behouden en daarbij meer dan 300 tanks van de tegenstander vernietigen. Doel van de geallieerde opmars was om de verbinding tussen de hoofdmachten van het Franse leger ten zuiden van de Somme en de geallieerde troepen bij Duinkerken te herstellen en tegelijkertijd de naar het kanaal opgestoomde Duitse tankeenheden af te snijden.
