Dit monument, dat nu wordt beheerd door de Souvenir Français, is de plek om de Franse deelname aan de Slag aan de Somme te herdenken. De omliggende begraafplaats is de grootste Franse necropolis aan de Somme. Het getuigt van het geweld van de gevechten in de laatste 3 maanden van het offensief (september-november 1916).
Rondleidingen voor individuen en groepen zijn beschikbaar op afspraak.
