Barst herbergt een bescheiden maar verrassend 19e-eeuws ossuarium dat sinds 1987 op de aanvullende inventaris van historische monumenten staat. Een inscriptie in het Duits en Latijn uit de 18e eeuw herinnert ons er nederig aan.
"DIT IS GODDELIJKE GERECHTIGHEID; HIER LIGT ZOWEL DE MEESTER ALS ZIJN DIENAAR. KOM NADERBIJ, WIJZEN VAN DEZE WERELD, EN ZEG WIE DE SCHURK EN WIE DE MEESTER IS. GEZEGEND ZIJN ZIJ DIE IN DE HEER GESTORVEN ZIJN"
Dit ossuarium bevindt zich aan de achterkant van de kerk, met toegang vanaf de rue de Biding.
