Vroeger eigendom van een familie van bankiers (familie Guitard), dit huis is een van de oudste bewaard gebleven in Rodez. De torenvorm toont de sociale opgang van deze familie, die haar naam gaf aan een deel van de rue du Touat, die vroeger rue de la Guitardie heette.
