Het megalithische monument bevindt zich op een bebost terrein op een plaats die Barbehère heet. De dolmen werd ongeveer 5000 jaar geleden opgericht, tijdens het neolithicum of de gepolijste steentijd. Gebouwd op een kalkstenen basis, lijkt het monument op een dolmen omgeven door een tumulus. Het plan toont een grafkamer en een toegang. De dolmen was een belangrijke collectieve begraafplaats.
