Een wandeling langs de Lot, in een prachtige omgeving, die u van de haven van Bouziès naar de voet van St Cirq Lapopie brengt (of omgekeerd). Vanaf het jaagpad werden de "gabarres" (platbodems) in konvooi getrokken door mannen of trekdieren.
Ter hoogte van de Ganil-sluis valt de klif steil in de rivier, waardoor de mannen in 1845 gedwongen waren de kalksteenrotsen met hun eigen armen bijna 1 km af te graven.
Het is versierd met een 30 m lang bas-reliëf, gebeeldhouwd in 1985 door de Toulouse kunstenaar Daniel MONNIER. Het roept zijn voorstelling op van de rivier en zijn omgeving: fauna, flora, rotsen, fossielen en wervelingen.
