De Priorij van Saint Arnoult is een van de weinige overgebleven voorbeelden van laat 15e-eeuwse gebouwen in vakwerk en leem. De oostelijke oriëntatie van de gevel en de dubbele kraagtechniek hebben bijgedragen tot het uitstekende behoud van de gebeeldhouwde decoratie van de lateien. De kwaliteit en finesse van het beeld tonen aan dat het eerder het werk is van een kunstenaar dan van een uitvoerder.
