Het eiland Raymond, gevormd door een dode arm van de Garonne die grenst aan de gemeenten Rions, Paillet en Lestiac, is het laatste alluviale watergebied in de Gironde. Het eiland is gerenoveerd en opengesteld voor het publiek. Het is een belangrijk educatief instrument dat iedereen in staat stelt opnieuw contact te leggen met de Garonne en de natuur. Het hele jaar door worden vele bezoeken georganiseerd.
