Cap de l'Homy, bereikbaar vanaf Lit et Mixe via de D88 over een afstand van ongeveer 8 km, of met de fiets via het parallelle fietspad, is een van die zeldzame badplaatsen aan de oceaankust waar het duin onaangetast is gebleven door bebouwing. Het strand is beschermd door het Office National des Forêts (ONF) en zowel de plaatselijke bevolking als de vakantiegangers bereiken het via speciaal aangelegde paden. Achter het duin, de weinige gebouwen rond het strand zijn de gemeentelijke camping, twee restaurants, een mini-markt, een paar winkels aan zee en een paar zeldzame huizen.
Rustig en authentiek, Cap de l'Homy wordt het hele jaar door bezocht door de lokale bevolking, gezinnen, natuurliefhebbers, sporters en luie mensen die komen om nieuwe energie op te doen. Deze plek, overlopend van schoonheid en blootgesteld aan de deining, is een prachtige speelplaats voor boardsporten.
