Het Parc des Luxembourg was het voormalige pretpark van de graven van Ligny-en-Barrois. In de 14e eeuw bood het park de jonge Pierre de Luxembourg al rust. De "L"-vorm is sinds het begin onveranderd gebleven. Het heeft een oppervlakte van 8 hectare en wordt begrensd door het water van de rivier de Ornain.

Overblijfselen van de oude vestingmuren van het kasteel zijn nog steeds zichtbaar; het puin getuigt van de ouderdom.

Het werd in 1794 aangekocht door de stad Ligny-en-Barrois en werd in 1932 geklasseerd als Historisch Monument.
