In 2019 is ter gelegenheid van 75 jaar bevrijding in Josselin een borne geplaatst in samenwerking met de Association Souvenir Militaire Centre Bretagne en het Josselin Country French Remembrance Committee. Patrick Le Diffon, de burgemeester van Ploërmel, en Joseph Séveno, burgemeester van Josselin, hebben deze wegmarkering voor de bevrijding ingehuldigd samen met John Shirley Wood, de kleinzoon van generaal Wood, commandant van de IV Amerikaanse pantserdivisie.
Deze borne maakt geen deel uit va de 'Voie de la Liberté', de gemarkeerde route van Ste. Mere Eglise nabij utah Beach nar Bastogne in de Belgische Ardennen.
