Het voormalige paleis van de commandant van het 16e Duitse legerkorps werd tussen 1902 en 1904 gebouwd in Duitse neorenaissancestijl. Het paleis is kenmerkend voor de historistische architectuur van die tijd. Het kan, evenals het park, worden bezocht tijdens de Europese Erfgoeddagen.
