Gite Le Cabernet ligt in de Quercy-Blanc op een heuvel met prachtig uitzicht over Montcuq en Lauzerte. Het is ideaal gelegen op loopafstand van het dorp Montcuq met zijn verschillende cafés en restaurants. De levendige zondagochtendmarkt van Montcuq is vermaard en trekt veel mensen uit de hele regio op zoek naar lokale producten zoals wijnen, kazen en andere specialiteiten.
Domaine Lapèze werd in 1803 gebouwd met de witte Quercy-steen die typisch is voor de regio. Het was ooit een wijnboerderij, maar vandaag de dag maken de grotten en oude wijngaarden deel uit van het erfgoed.
