Il Gite Le Cabernet è situato nella regione del Quercy-Blanc su una collina con una splendida vista su Montcuq e Lauzerte. È situato a pochi passi dal villaggio di Montcuq con i suoi vari caffè e ristoranti. Il vivace mercato della domenica mattina di Montcuq è rinomato e attira molte persone da tutta la regione in cerca di prodotti locali come vini, formaggi e altre specialità.
Il Domaine Lapèze è stato costruito nel 1803 utilizzando la pietra bianca del Quercy, tipica della regione. Un tempo era un'azienda vinicola, ma oggi le grotte e i vecchi vigneti fanno parte del suo patrimonio.
