Genesteld in het hart van het bos, aan de rand van een meer van 150 hectare, biedt de Base de Loisirs des Vieilles Forges rust en ontspanning in een ongerepte omgeving, en maakt het mogelijk allerlei sportieve activiteiten te beoefenen, mountainbiken, wandelen, tennis, niet-gemotoriseerde watersporten en natuurlijk zwemmen. Acrobatisch park in het bos op 300 meter afstand. Op ongeveer vijftien kilometer afstand van Charleville-Mézières ligt het meer van Vieilles Forges op 5 kilometer van Renwez, waar alle winkels zijn gevestigd.
