Het bosmassief kijkt uit over de Saulxvallei en heeft een natuurlijk en geologisch karakter dat uniek is in de Maas. Het herbergt een rijke biodiversiteit en de ondergrond bevat een karstnetwerk met een belangrijke ondergrondse rivier, de Rupt du Puits.
Kom deze bijzonderheden ontdekken tijdens een educatief parcours rond de thema's bos, water en geologie.
Een educatief pad van 4,5 km verdeeld in 3 paden:
- Paardestaartpad: 1,5 km - 45 minuten
- Karstpad: 1 km - 45 minuten
- Saulx pad: 2 km - 1 uur
14 educatieve stations in totaal, waaronder 2 uitkijkplatforms.
Op de voormalige spoorlijn is een arboretum met 13 markeringen aangelegd.
Start rechts van de begraafplaats van Beurey sur Saulx.
