De kerk van St. Maria van Riquer wordt vermeld in de 10e eeuw. Het gebouw moest in de 11e eeuw worden herbouwd. Het gebouw heeft weinig veranderingen ondergaan sinds 1073. De kerk staat op de monumentenlijst en is versierd met fresco's, waarschijnlijk uit de tweede helft van de 12e eeuw. Elke zomer is de kapel gastheer van de Rencontres culturelles de Riquer.
