De Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine is een openbare instelling gewijd aan de verspreiding van hedendaagse kunst. De Frac-Artothèque richt zich op uitwisselingen tussen kunstenaars en het publiek en organiseert tentoonstellingen, culturele activiteiten (bezoeken, workshops, cursussen kunstgeschiedenis, lezingen, lezingen, enz.) en ontwikkelt talrijke partnerschappen met andere culturele organisaties (musea, theaters, enz.) en met lokale overheden. Van oudsher gevestigd in de voormalige regio Limousin, is het werkterrein van de Frac-Artothèque sinds 2017 uitgebreid naar de regio Nouvelle-Aquitaine. De Frac-Artothèque is een vereniging volgens de wet van 1901 en wordt gefinancierd door de regio Nouvelle-Aquitaine en de staat (Ministerie van Cultuur ? DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Een nieuw gebouw zal de Frac-Artothèque huisvesten op 17 bis rue Charles Michels in Limoges in 2024!
