Bioscoop Jean Gabin is geclassificeerd als arthousebioscoop. Het doel van deze classificatie is om bioscopen te ondersteunen die een aanzienlijk deel van de als arthouse aanbevolen films vertonen en die deze vaak moeilijke films ondersteunen met een aangepast animatiebeleid. Deze classificatie gaat gepaard met het label Recherche et Découverte. Dit label markeert de zichtbaarheid in de programmering van bijzondere en vernieuwende werken in het cinematografische landschap. Het label Young Audiences werd ook toegekend. Dit label getuigt van de rijkdom en regelmaat van de programmering van werken gericht op kinderen en jongeren, buiten de schooluren.
