Rochard is een afgelegen plek midden in de natuur, aan de oevers van de rivier de Autize. Het terrein is bijzonder geschikt voor groepen met een sportieve, culturele of ecologische inslag. Rochard organiseert ook minikampen tijdens de schoolvakanties, en de weekends worden vaak geboekt door families of vrienden.
De gîte heeft 2 grote ruimtes van 30 m² elk met functionele voorzieningen voor 30 personen: keuken, sanitair (5 wastafels, 2 douches, toiletten). U slaapt niet in de gîte, maar in een yurt met 14 bedden (van juni tot oktober) die in de weide naast de gîte staat.
