In 1989 besloot de gemeente Saint-Just-le-Martel haar bibliotheek en internationaal documentatiecentrum voor cartoons en humor uit te breiden en op te knappen. Naast de traditionele taken heeft de bibliotheek ook tot taak om kunsttentoonstellingen van hoog niveau en kunstenaars in residentie te huisvesten en om de lokale bevolking permanente culturele en artistieke activiteiten aan te bieden.
Soorten beschikbare documenten: boeken, cd's, dvd's, VHS.
Speciale collecties: thematische collectie perscartoons en humor.
Beschikbare diensten: uitlenen, interlenen, internettoegang (€1,00 per half uur).
Netwerk: netwerk van uitleenbibliotheken van het departement Haute-Vienne.
