Périgueux, gelegen in het centrum van het departement, is een ideaal vertrekpunt om alle bezienswaardigheden van de Périgord te bezoeken. Er zijn vele zomeractiviteiten, waaronder het MIMOS International Mime Festival (augustus), maar ook culturele activiteiten met zijn historische wijken (VESUNNA, Cathédrale Saint Front,...) zonder de gastronomie te vergeten met zijn vele restaurants waar u door de middeleeuwse straatjes kunt wandelen, terwijl u de particuliere herenhuizen uit de Renaissance ontdekt. Voor natuurliefhebbers bieden de Voie Bleue (kanoën) en de Voie Verte (wandelen, fietsen, skeeleren) u meer dan 15 km aan routes....
