Het VVV-kantoor bevindt zich bij de ingang van de rue du Pavillon, naast de bank Caisse d'Epargne. Een militaire stad met stervormige vestingwerken uit de 16e eeuw. Vauban, commissaris voor vestingwerken, bezocht Rocroy drie keer, in 1673, 1691 en 1696. Rocroy, uniek in Frankrijk, was het toneel van een grote veldslag, de eerste overwinning onder het bewind van de Zonnekoning. 2 restaurants, 2 bars, allerlei winkels, 2 supermarkten, 1 hotel, bed & breakfasts en gîtes, een caravanpark bij de ingang van de stad, een aquacentrum, een speeltuin, een sportparcours in de vestingwerken. De stad is bekroond met de labels "Village étape" en "Petite cité de caractère".
