Office de Tourisme Vallées et Plateau d'Ardenne - Rocroi

The Tourist Office is located at the entrance to rue du Pavillon, next to the Caisse d'Epargne bank. A military town with 16th-century star-shaped fortifications. Vauban, commissioner of fortifications, visited Rocroy three times, in 1673, 1691 and 1696. Unique in France, Rocroy was the scene of a great battle, the first victory under the reign of the Sun King.2 restaurants, 2 bars, all kinds of shops, 2 supermarkets, 1 hotel, bed & breakfasts and gîtes, a camping car park at the entrance to the town, an aquatic center, a playground, a sports trail in the fortifications. The town's labels include "Village étape" and "Petite cité de caractère".
