Het bosarboretum "Les Deux-Sèvres à travers bois" is een plaats van ontdekking en initiatie tot duurzaam bosbeheer. Uitgevoerd als een echt miniatuurbos, wordt deze ruimte gebruikt als levende educatieve ondersteuning door de naburige landbouwhogeschool, verenigingen, basisscholen van het kanton, evenals het kinderdagverblijf van Melle; het is een wandelroute voorzien van enkele bankjes, en is permanent toegankelijk. Het werd in januari 1993 opgericht door de Groupement Forestier des Deux-Sèvres (GDF 79).
