Ik ben Tanguy Coillot, geboren in 1996 in Lotharingen, een streek die mij bijzonder aanspreekt.
Ik heb altijd van mooie messen gehouden, maar het was in april 2019 dat ik op het idee kwam er zelf een te maken. Na 3 jaar messen maken in mijn vrije tijd, zal ik op 1 april 2022 mijn baan als ambtenaar opzeggen om fulltime messenmaker te worden. Mijn productie is eerder gericht op vouwmessen, maar ik maak ook graag vaste messen met verschillende functies. Een mes is in de eerste plaats gereedschap, en daarom geef ik de voorkeur aan functionaliteit boven esthetiek.
Mijn werkplaats en smederij bevinden zich in Lachaussée in de Maas, u kunt contact met mij opnemen om mij te ontmoeten.
