De versterkte kerk Saint-Médard de Prisces dateert uit de 12e eeuw (schip en koor). Aanvankelijk gebouwd in witte steen, kreeg ze in de 16e eeuw een imposante vierkante donjon in rode en geglazuurde baksteen. Sommige kroonlijsten zijn versierd met modillions (menselijke figuren en dierenkoppen). De donjon, de hoogste van Thiérache, is 27 meter hoog, het equivalent van een gebouw met 6 verdiepingen. De kerk is momenteel gesloten voor het publiek in het kader van restauratiewerkzaamheden die tot 2027 zullen duren.
Een paar meter onder de kerk mag je het washuis van het dorp niet missen.
