Het beeld van een "Rouge flamande" koe werd gemaakt door beeldhouwer Roch Vandromme en geplaatst in 2011.

Plaquette: "Het beeld van de Vlaamse koe", gemaakt door kunstenaar Roch Vandromme, viert de creatie van het stamboek, een van de oudste in Frankrijk, op de landbouwbeurs van Bergues in 1886".

Het is een Vlaamse rode is een koeienras dat typisch is voor de regio. Van zijn romige melk worden kazen gemaakt. Voorbeelden zijn mimolette en maroilles, en Bergues kaas.
