De 46 langeafstandswandelroute verbindt Tours met Toulouse over een totale afstand van 945 km. De route loopt door Indre-et-Loire, Indre, Creuse, Corrèze, Lot, Tarn-et-Garonne, Tarn en Haute-Garonne.

Het deel door de Corrèze begint in Lacelle, in het noorden van het natuurpark Plateau de Millevaches, en eindigt in Turenne, het mooiste dorp van Frankrijk, met zijn prachtige kasteel op een rots met een 360° panoramisch uitzicht over het landschap van de Causse en de Quercy. De route voert ook langs Treignac, een "Petite Cité de Caractère" genesteld in het Massif des Monédières, en Uzerche, de "Plus Beau Détour de France", ook wel bekend als de "Parel van de Limousin" vanwege de vele adellijke huizen en torens.
